Sage & Lotus Reiki®

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sage & Lotus Reiki® website, services, classes, and offerings ("Services"). By booking or participating in any service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use these Services.

1. Scope of Services & Disclaimer

Sage & Lotus Reiki® provides complementary wellness services including Holy Fire® Reiki, Holy Fire® Karuna® Reiki, energy healing sessions, and Reiki training classes.

These services are intended to support relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels.

We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or psychological conditions

We do not prescribe medications or replace licensed healthcare providers

Reiki is a complementary practice and should be used alongside—not instead of—professional medical care

You are encouraged to consult a licensed healthcare provider for any health concerns.

2. Client Responsibility

By booking a service, you acknowledge:

You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being

You will seek appropriate medical or psychological care when needed

You are voluntarily participating in all services

Before your session, we may set an intention together. We do not review or manage medical history—this remains between you and your healthcare providers.

3. Eligibility

Services are open to individuals 18 years and older

4. Remote Sessions

Many services are offered remotely.

By booking a distance session, you understand:

Sessions may take place without live interaction (depending on the service)

Some sessions may include guided meditation and/or music to help you relax into a receptive state

Optional recordings may be provided for personal use only and may not be shared.

5. What to Expect

During your session:

You’ll be guided into a relaxed, meditative state

Reiki energy will flow without effort or direction

Experiences vary—some feel sensations, others simply feel calm or restful

There is no “right” or “wrong” experience.

6. Payment, Cancellations & Refunds

All sales are final unless otherwise stated

Cancellations & Rescheduling:

Must be made at least 24 hours in advance

Late cancellations may result in forfeited payment

Refunds:

Reiki services are non-refundable once completed

Classes may have separate refund policies listed at time of booking

7. Classes & Training

Reiki classes are offered in alignment with the teachings of the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT).

By enrolling, you understand:

Certification does not imply medical licensure

You are responsible for your continued practice and development

Class materials, recordings, and manuals are for personal use only and may not be shared or reproduced.

8. Code of Conduct

Sage & Lotus Reiki® is a safe, respectful, and supportive space.

By participating, you agree to:

Maintain appropriate behavior during sessions and classes

Honor the integrity of the healing space

Services may be refused or terminated if these standards are not upheld.

9. Intellectual Property

All content—including text, materials, classes, videos, branding, and teachings—is the property of Sage & Lotus Reiki®.

You may not:

Use any content for your own business without permission

10. Limitation of Liability

All services are provided voluntarily and at your own discretion.

Sage & Lotus Reiki® is not liable for:

Any outcomes related to your participation

Decisions made based on sessions or guidance

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.

12. Updates to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of Services means you accept any updates.
